The Women and Youth Promoters Association of Nigeria (WAYPAN) promotes the welfare of women and youth through education, health, and economic empowerment — reducing poverty and hunger, and building a more equitable society.
We work to ensure women and youth have access to adequate, quality education — from foundational learning to skills that open doors.
We support improved maternal health, reduced child mortality, and awareness around HIV/AIDS, malaria and other preventable diseases.
Training and empowerment programs designed to meet the real needs of women and youth in their communities.
Since 2006
WAYPAN was founded by Hajiya Zainab Yakubu Muhammad on 2nd March, 2006 to organize women and youth toward welfare, education, health and economic opportunity. Today that work continues through training, advocacy, and direct community support.
